Bolstering Collective Power to End the Incarceration of Women Worldwide

WOLA, IDPC, the National Council for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls, WHRIN, Equis Justicia para las Mujeres, Corporación Humanas Colombia, and Mujeres Libres Colombia will be co-sponsoring the virtual workshop “Voices from the Frontlines: Bolstering Collective Power to End the Incarceration of Women Worldwide” on Friday, September 17 at 9:30 a.m. EDT (1:30 p.m. UTC). In this interactive session, formerly incarcerated women will come together to share their lived experiences, raise awareness of the impact of incarceration on women, and bolster collective power to advocate for forward-looking options for prison and drug policy reforms, with a strong feminist and intersectional perspective.
